Our PROJECTS

At the heart of our LANYE-BARRAC VitiFarm vineyard, we passionately raise Angus and Galloway cattle, two hardy breeds originating from Scotland, perfectly suited to sustainable and nature-friendly farming. Our animals live outdoors, amidst the schist hills and unspoiled landscapes of the estate. Raised in harmony with the natural rhythm of the seasons, they play a vital role in the balance of our agricultural ecosystem. Grazing the plots, natural soil fertilization, and coexistence with the vines are all part of our vision of a living farm, inspired by biodynamic principles. The Angus breed is renowned for the tenderness and marbling of its meat, while the Galloway is prized for its exceptional hardiness, gentle temperament, and ability to thrive on natural pastures. Together, they embody authentic, extensive and human-scale agriculture. Through this livestock farming, we wish to recreate the link between animal, land and man, in an approach consistent with our peasant philosophy: to produce with high standards, preserve the soils and pass on a living heritage.
